<p>Maryam Zahirimehr is an Iran native who lives in the U.S. and works as a photographer, writer, director, and producer. She has a Master of Fine Art degree from Lesley University and has received numerous filmmaking awards. Zahirimehr’s captivating visual art often features macro photography depicting flowers, insects, water droplets, reflective colors, and everyday scenes of life. Meanwhile, themes of her filmmaking explore social issues, violence against women, injustice, fragility and poetic metaphors.</p>
