Pacific Grove Lighthouse California

Item # 2878517

Michael Kent Lynberg

A California native, Michael is an acclaimed landscape and seascape photographer who uses some of the same tools and post-production techniques as matte painters and concept artists at today's movie studios. Through his dramatic and impressionistic works, Michael aims to share the beauty of the California coastline.

The Point Pinos Lighthouse in Pacific Grove, California was first lit in 1855, guiding ships along the rugged California coast. It is the oldest continuously operating lighthouse on the west coast of the U.S. This piece captures a special moment when some rain clouds have cleared, and a rainbow appeared.
