After growing up in the Chicago suburbs, Michael Mullan studied graphic design and illustration at the Savannah College of Art + Design. He is an artist and illustrator who creates bold designs, whimsical maps, and hand lettering works of art. Mullan’s works have been featured in magazines, advertising, murals, home goods, and product packaging. Today, he works from his studio in Vermont and spends his days creating art and getting outdoors with hiking and trail running. With a deep appreciation for both design and illustration, his art reflects graphic and handmade qualities reminiscent of printmaking techniques and paying tribute to his hero, Andy Warhol.
