The Draper Utah Temple was dedicated in 2006 by Gordon Hinckley and again in 2009 by Thomas Monson. The temple itself contains more than 35,000 pieces of hand-cut glass, all of which survived a fire while being created by Utah artist Tom Holdman. The sego lily, Utah's state flower, is a recurring theme around the temple.
