<p>Javanese artist Aricadia joined Sanggar Bunga-Buinga Bali, an artists' community where he began to explore his skills and freedom, combining realist and impressionist techniques on canvas. This resulted in a style of painting featuring a contrast of colors that are sharp and wild.</p>
<p>Primary hues wash across a beautiful young nude who is unaware of the artist's gaze. Thoughtfully, she folds her arms above her head, lifting her full breasts to the caress of moonlight. 'Woman's happiness lies not in the glory of her husband, not in her chastity or her gentleness either, but in the love that blends her soul with her beloved's soul,' says Javanese artist Aricadia. 'The given love-heart makes each part become a living whole body, made one by a blessing from God's lips.'</p>
