As his interest in color, light, and form developed over the years, his interest in geometric abstraction and optical geometry also began to grow. Soto's work carefully balances shape with color and rationality with artistic intuition. He creates optically captivating works, influenced by design and architecture, that alter the viewers perception of space and reality.</p>
