<p>A California native, Michael is an acclaimed landscape and seascape photographer who uses some of the same tools and post-production techniques as matte painters and concept artists at today's movie studios. Through his dramatic and impressionistic works, Michael aims to share the beauty of the California coastline.</p>
<p>One of the treasures of Big Sur is the 80-foot waterfall known as McWay Falls, which flows to a small secluded beach or, when the tide is high, directly into the Pacific Ocean. The pristine teal waters of the inlet called McWay Cove excite the senses. The unexpected rock formations, trees, flowers and other plants add touches of beauty to the scene.</p>
