<p>Eleanor Doughty is a Seattle-based illustrator and urban sketcher. Sketchbook in hand, she travels her neighborhood and foreign countries the same way, pen in hand, eyes up. She lives with her partner in an apartment by the lake with 60 houseplants, give or take.</p>
<p>March is for cherry blossoms. Abstracted clouds of flowers hang above people having picnics and walking through the park. This was drawn at Seattle's Washington Park Arboretum, though it could be anywhere where there are cherry trees. The artist used acrylic, watercolor, and markers to make this piece.</p>
