This Was created by the Office of War Information which commenced operations in 1942 and operated till the end of the Second World War in 1945. Comprising of African American fighter and bomber pilots, these airmen formed the 332nd Fighter Group and also the 477th Bombardment Group of the U.S. Army Air Forces and acquired training at Tuskegee Army Base, Alabama.</p>
