This downtown trading center, including an adjacent fireproof warehouse structure, not shown, will provide more than 1,500,000 square feet of integrated space, covering nearly three square blocks, to be devoted to showrooms, permanent exposition hall, offices, warehouse and 600-car parking garage for the electrical supply, housewares, hardware, appliance, machine took and related industries. Extensive modernization of the property is to be started immediately by the Astor-Broadway Holding Corp.</p>
