And the fact that Molly is the girlfriend of McAvoy's longtime rival--and successful PGA player--Don Simms (Johnson), well Tin Cup isn't adverse to playing for the lady's affections either. The U.S. Open scenes were filmed at Houston's Kingwood Country Club and the actors do hit their own shots.</p>
