He works exclusively in oils in what would be considered an impressionistic style. Exciting brushwork combined with soft edges and atmosphere all come together to portray the landscape in a poetic fashion. Sometimes his work is painted on location; other times he references old photos. There are also times when he pulls strictly from his imagination. Collectively, these varying approaches, along with his life experiences, all come together to create work that is unique to Figlinski as an artist.</p>
