Andy Crawford is a photographer from Louisiana. Whether sloshing around in his home swamps, hiking in the Smoky Mountains or traveling through the Southwest deserts, Andy enjoys seeing these beautiful places from different angles. His goal is to capture photos that communicate the beauty around him and transport others to an emotional place where they feel the wonder that he feels.

Lucille's Service Station in Hydro, Oklahoma, looks ready to serve drivers on the historic Route 66. The old building was erected in 1929, and it is one of just two two-story out-thrust porch gas stations remaining on the Oklahoma section of Route 66. Lucille Harmon, for whom the gas station is named, was cut off from direct access to most traffic when Interstate 40 was built in 1971. However, she kept the station open until her death in 2000. Route 66 can be seen in the left side of this photo, while light trails from car lights on I-40 are in the far left.
