<p>Eleanor Doughty is a Seattle-based illustrator and urban sketcher. Sketchbook in hand, she travels her neighborhood and foreign countries the same way, pen in hand, eyes up. She lives with her partner in an apartment by the lake with 60 houseplants, give or take.</p>
<p>A view I enjoy when I ride my bike up the protected lanes on 2nd Ave in Seattle. A dramatic scene down a canyon of new glass skyscrapers. I set up an easel in the median and painted in the cityscape and finished it later in the studio, using acrylic ink, acrylic paint, watercolor, pens, and other miscellaneous materials.</p>
