<p>Eleanor Doughty is a Seattle-based illustrator and urban sketcher. Sketchbook in hand, she travels her neighborhood and foreign countries the same way, pen in hand, eyes up. She lives with her partner in an apartment by the lake with 60 houseplants, give or take.</p>
<p>An interpretation of the skyline of Seattle, seen from east of downtown in Capitol Hill, from the antennas on top of Madison Ave, to the southern cluster of supertall skyscrapers, to the northern area of more skyscrapers and construction, all the way to the Space Needle and Olympic Mountains. I used mixed media to create this illustration: watercolor, ink, acrylic, a bit of digital media.</p>
