<p>A California native, Michael is an acclaimed landscape and seascape photographer who uses some of the same tools and post-production techniques as matte painters and concept artists at today's movie studios. <p>A spectacular view of the rugged coastline in Big Sur with the Rocky Creek Bridge in the distance. Two giant arches in the rock formations testify to the incessant force of the sea and lead one's eyes to the concrete arch in the bridge. Opened in 1932, the Rocky Creek Bridge is about 14 miles south of Carmel-by-the-Sea. The Bixby Creek Bridge is one mile farther down Highway 1.</p>
