<p>Mike Wilson is a contemporary painter from Denver, Colorado, who painted watercolors of all 53 of the highest peaks in Colorado. He generously donated the collection to Cottonwood Institute, a non-profit organization that helps get kids outdoors.</p>
<p>A 14er is a mountain peak that rises above 14,000 feet in elevation. Quandary Peak is part of the Mosquito Range in Colorado, and sits at an elevation of 14,271 ft. Colorado is home to 53 fourteeners, the most of any state, which are all located on Cheyenne, Arapaho, Ute, and Pueblos lands. This painting was donated to the Cottonwood Institute by artist Mike Wilson.</p>
