<p>Andy Crawford is a photographer from Louisiana. Whether sloshing around in his home swamps, hiking in the Smoky Mountains or traveling through the Southwest deserts, Andy enjoys seeing these beautiful places from different angles. His goal is to capture photos that communicate the beauty around him and transport others to an emotional place where they feel the wonder that he feels.</p>
<p>Louisiana's Oak Alley Plantation is one of the grandest antebellum homes along the Mississippi River. It is famous for the 28 live oaks evenly spaced in two rows to form a canopied alley leading to the front doors of the Greek revival home. Oak Alley Plantation was completed in 1839, and has been open for tours since 1969. The graceful oak trees forming the alley are thought to be at least 100 years older than the "Big House."</p>
