<p>Mount Hood Railroad. This is locomotive number 02 on the Mount Hood Railroad (MHRR), a heritage railroad established in 1987 that runs through the city and surroundings of Hood River, Oregon, USA. Here, it is passing a railroad crossing (sign at left). This model is an EMD GP38-2 diesel-electric, built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division. This model was built between 1972 and 1986. The Mount Hood Railroad offers scenic tours of the Hood River Valley and views of Mount Hood.</p>
