<p>Colonnade Falls on the Belcher River in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, United States of America. Colonnade Falls on the Belcher River is a two-stepped waterfall with a 35 foot upper and a 67 foot lower fall about 100 yards apart. The Bechler River drops over these two steps of hard volcanic rock. This waterfall is one of many in the southwestern part of Yellowstone called Cascade Corner. With the highest annual precipitation in the Park, 80 inches on average, and the lava flow which created the Pitchstone Plateau, this area has abrupt vertical relief with resistant hard ridges of rock along its stream courses, perfect for dramatic waterfalls.</p>
