<p>Artist Carson Overstreet grew up in the small town of Bedford, Virginia in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Inspired by the southern landscape and molded by her own artistic family upbringing, Carson—who was always artistically inclined--took up painting in 2013. She dabbles in a little bit of everything with subjects including landscapes, florals, still life, figures and plein air. Her work defies categorization ranging from large to small, muted to saturated with color, realistic to abstract.</p>
