#MyGreatBIGCanvas Sweepstakes: Terms & Conditions

 

To qualify for the chance to win a USD $500 shopping spree at Great BIG Canvas, redeemable at GreatBIGCanvas.com, and have your art featured in IDEAS, you must snap a photo of your art print purchased from Great BIG Canvas displayed in your home or office, then submit your photo into the My Great BIG Canvas Sweepstakes or post a photo on social media (Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter) with the hashtag #MyGreatBIGCanvas. Social Media accounts must be public for these posts tagged with #MyGreatBIGCanvas to be qualified. 

 

You must own the rights to the room image submitted. Winner will be randomly selected the first week of each month. Grand Prize Winner will receive a voucher for USD $500.00 toward their next purchase at Great BIG Canvas. Voucher amount will apply toward shipping; Winner will be responsilble for covering any taxes or costs over USD $500.00. Applicable Runner-Up Winner(s) could have their photo featured in IDEAS, but will not receive a voucher prize. Grand Prize Winner will be notified via email and / or direct message via social media. Entries will be posted monthly to GreatBIGCanvas.com/IDEAS.

Grand Prize Winner and applicable Runner-Up Winner will be randomly selected. Any applicable Grand Prize Winner and / or Runner Up Winner(s) will be notified via email and / or direct message via social media. Entries will be posted monthly to GreatBIGCanvas.com/IDEAS.

2. All entries become the sole and exclusive property of Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, and Great BIG Canvas, and receipt of entries may not be acknowledged or returned. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, or Great BIG Canvas. By submitting your photo to Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, or Great BIG Canvas, you grant permission to allow Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, or Great BIG Canvas to use your content (including social media handle) across social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.), promotional emails, and other promotional materials. 

 

3.  By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, and Great BIG Canvas, which will be final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Grand Prize Winner and any applicable Runner-Up Winner(s) will be notified via email and / or direct message via social media. Any unclaimed or forfeited prizes will not be awarded.

 

4. ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, and Canada who are 18 years or older at time of entry. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited by law. Employees of Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, and Great BIG Canvas, their parents, affiliates and subsidiaries, participating advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers (and members of their immediate family and/or those living in the same household of each) are not eligible.

PRIZE: Grand Prize Winner will receive a voucher worth USD $500.00 redeemable on GreatBIGCanvas.com.Voucher amount will apply toward shipping; Winner will be responsilble for covering any taxes or costs over USD $500.00 voucher value. Grand Prize Winner will have their content (photo of their art) featured on GreatBIGCanvas.com/IDEAS. Runner-Up entries may also be featured on GreatBIGCanvas.com/IDEAS, but will not receive a voucher prize. Prize(s) cannot be combined with any other offer, voucher, gift card, or on-site promotion.

 

6. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: No transfer, assignment or substitution of a prize permitted, except that Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, and Great BIG Canvas reserves the right to substitute a prize for an item of equal or greater value if the offered prize is unavailable, in Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, and Great BIG Canvas's sole and absolute discretion. Prize(s) cannot be combined with any other offer, voucher, gift card, or on-site promotion. All prizes are awarded without warranty of any kind from Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, or Great BIG Canvas, express or implied, without limitation. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All taxes are the sole responsibility of the prize winners. As of June 13th, 2016 US State sales tax applicable in: CA, CT, CO, KS, LA, MA, MI, NC, NJ, NY, TX, and MN. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules, the Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, and Great BIG Canvas Terms of Service, the Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, and Great BIG Canvas' Privacy Policy and by the decisions of Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, and Great BIG Canvas, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Sweepstakes. Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, and Great BIG Canvas is not responsible if a prize cannot be awarded due to delays, technical problems or interruptions due to acts of God, acts of war, natural disasters, weather or acts of terrorism. Potential winners may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, and Release of Liability, and where legally acceptable, Publicity Release within three (3) days following attempted notification. Failure to comply within this time period may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. By accepting a prize, winner agrees to hold Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, and Great BIG Canvas, its respective directors, officers, and employees and assigns harmless for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused by participation in the Sweepstakes and/or acceptance of any prize. Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, and Great BIG Canvas is not responsible for any typographical, printing, technical, human or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prize.

INTERNET: Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, and Great BIG Canvas, its affiliates, partners and promotion and advertising agencies are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, telephone or other communications malfunctions, errors or failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, website, Internet, or ISP availability, unauthorized human intervention, traffic congestion, incomplete or inaccurate capture of entry information (regardless of cause) or failed, incomplete, garbled, jumbled or delayed computer transmissions which may limit one’s ability to enter the Sweepstakes, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or downloading any materials in this Sweepstakes. If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, and Great BIG Canvas reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. In such event, Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, and Great BIG Canvas reserves the right to select winners from eligible entries received as of the termination date. Prize(s) cannot be combined with any other offer, voucher, gift card, or on-site promotion.

USE OF DATA: Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, and Great BIG Canvas will be collecting personal data about entrants online, in accordance with its Privacy Policy, unless otherwise set forth in these Official Rules. By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants hereby agree to Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, and Great BIG Canvas' collection and use of their personal information and acknowledge that they have read and accepted the Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, and Great BIG Canvas Privacy Policy.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY: BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, YOU HEREBY AGREE THAT IN NO EVENT WILL Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, and Great BIG Canvas, OR ANY Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, and Great BIG Canvas  EMPLOYEE, OFFICER, SHAREHOLDES, DIRECTOR OR AGENT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR, AND YOU HEREBY RELEASE THEM FROM, ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, ACTIONS, DAMAGES, LOSSES, COSTS, EXPENSE OR LIABILITY OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURIES AND/OR DEATH, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, AND COUNSEL FEES AND COURT COSTS) ARISING OR RESULTING FROM ANYTHING RELATING TO THE PRODUCTION, PROMOTION, ADMINISTRATION OR EXECUTION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES (OR YOUR PARTICIPATION IN IT); CANCELLATION, MODIFICATION OR RESCHEDULING OF ANY ASPECT OF THE SWEEPSTAKES; USE OF ANY WEBSITES RELATED TO THE SWEEPSTAKES OR MATERIALS ON SUCH WEBSITES; ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE, MISUSE, OR NONUSE OF THE PRIZE; OR PARTICIPATING IN OR TRAVELING TO ANY SWEEPSTAKES-RELATED ACTIVITY.

ADDITIONAL TERMS: Any potential winner may be requested to provide Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, and Great BIG Canvas with proof that such winner is a United States resident and was at least 18 years old at the time of entry. All winners may be required to sign a release for the use of their name in marketing and advertising materials distributed by Canvas on Demand, including the announcement of the winner. Any automatic, programmed, robotic or similar means of entry are prohibited. Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, and Great BIG Canvas reserves the right at its sole and absolute discretion (i) to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes; and/or (ii) to disqualify any individual it finds, in its sole and absolute discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or website. Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, and Great BIG Canvas may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes or winning a prize if, in its sole and absolute discretion, it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices (including the use of automated quick entry programs) or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants, Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, and Great BIG Canvas, or users of the Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, and Great BIG Canvas service. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, and Great BIG Canvas reserves the right to seek damages from any such entrant to the fullest extent of the law. In the event of a dispute as to any online entry, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register will be deemed to be the entrant. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Entrant may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. Trademarks of companies other than Canvas on Demand, Canvas on Demand PRO, and Great BIG Canvas are intellectual property of the trademark owners and are used for identification purposes only.
