About Anthony van Dyck
Anthony van Dyck (1599 – 1641), in full Sir Anthony van Dyck, was one of the most prominent Flemish Baroque painters of the 17th century. A prolific painter of portraits of European aristocracy, he also executed many works on religious and mythological subjects and was a fine draftsman and etcher.
