Described as “America’s best-known, living folk artist, Warren Kimble has been a fine artist, educator, and antique collector for over half a century. Kimble creates a casual and sophisticated style of American folk art that often depicts rural landscapes, animals, and Vermont architecture. It’s easy to get lost in Kimble’s paintings because of their universally appealing imagery that reminds us of simpler times and nostalgic eras. He and his wife and business partner, Lorraine, live and work in western Vermont, where they are also engaged in artistic development, civic life, and philanthropy.
