The Secret Hermit is art by Micki Wilde. Her painting process is a fusion of preplanned and intuitive work with the main aim being to create a thought provoking visual tale. As a self-confessed hermit, her work is a source of escape from the man made world outside her door. It is a safe haven where fantastical dreams are born and wild animals are free to roam. She works with a range of different mediums but typically she uses paint, pencils and a whole lot of love to help these stories unfold.
