About Alan Dyer
Born in Nelson, Lancashire, Alan Dyer is a British painter and artist who teaches at the teaches at the Coventry School of Art. He has worked in business, attended art school, and studied for a Master of Philosophy degree in the past. Dyer is known for creating a series of family portraits, being published on the subject of computer-based hypertext systems, and lecturing about the psychology and ideology of art. Today, Dyer manages multiple studios and workshops for young artists at the Coventry Canal Basin Trust.
