About Sue Schlabach
Based in rural Vermont, Sue Schlabach is an artist who creates pieces with paint, ink, and paper. She works as the creative director for the art publisher Wild Apple, paints with acrylics, gardens, and does grassroots work for BALE (Building a Local Community). She is also a seamstress, textile up-cycler, and thrift store shopper. Schlabach’s studio is an old taproom in an 1830s brick house, but she also paints in the outdoors whenever possible.
