Ursula Abresch

Ursula Abresch's unique photography style can be classified as photo-impressionism, which allows for the abstraction of subjects; it makes it possible to express feelings without having to say a word, and to put down thoughts, dreams, and fleeting moments in time. She plays with color and uses it almost as if it were the subject itself.

A number of trees in full golden, Autumn foliage in a small town in British Columbia, Canada. The image was made using the in-camera burst multiple exposure + ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) technique. The purpose is to give an impression of the glorious beauty of Fall, when trees, grasses, whole mountainsides, look like they are on fire. Ursula Abresch Fall Collection.
