Every drawing from The Whiskey Ginger is derived from a real character, either past or present. The illustrations may stem from simple observations made from a rickety bar stool, or perhaps they’re inspired by the many characters the artists have encountered in their travels. Sunshine, dirt roads, roadside diners, ghost towns- the best things can be found in the strangest of places.</p>
