Scarlet Ibis Flock

<p>Scarlet ibis (Eudocimus ruber) flock in flight. These large waterbirds range from Central America and Northern South America and were introduced into Florida as part of a breeding program in 1962. Their name is derived from Greek meaning 'religious worship, sacred bird' and images of the them can be found in 4000 year old Egyptian wall paintings.
