<p>Born and raised in Chicago, Sue Jachimiec is an artist who works with various mediums, including acrylic, oil, cold wax, and encaustic. She specializes in the manipulation of layers to create unique textures with colors that invoke distinct moods and emotions. Many of Jachimiec’s paintings feature the themes of nature, farm life, barns, animals, and abstraction. She is deeply connected to the art community in Richmond, Virginia and splits her time between experimenting in her studios in Richmond, Virginia and Dodgeville, Wisconsin.</p>
