Scott Jarvie

Scott Jarvie grew up in the San Diego area and loves to travel with his camera by his side. His collection of photographs include Mormon Temples, each one lovingly captured during his excursions around the United States.

The Portland Oregon Temple was the first to be built in Oregon and its stunning exterior is composed of white marble and green slate from Vermont. The gardens draw many visitors daily and a fountain and infinity pool only adds to the incredible area. The temple is located in Lake Oswego, Oregon, and was dedicated in 1986 and 1989 by Gordon B. Hinckley. The visitors' center at the temple contains a reproduction of Thorvaldsen's Christus statue that amazes guests.
