<p>Margaret (Mickey) McGrath, former WASP sitting on the wing of in an XAT-6E trainer aircraft. It was equipped with an experimental Ranger Engine. McGrath and the XAT-6E failed to complete the first lap on Aug. 30, 1947 Hall Trophy race at Cleveland. WASP stands for Women's Airforce Service Personal, a group of women pilots that freed men for combat flying during World War II.</p>
