<p>La Guardia Airport control tower, constructed in 1962. Designed by Wallace K. Harrison, its futuristic design would be at home with the Trylon and Perisphere he designed for the 1939 World's Fair. In 2010 it was replaced by a new tower with advanced electronics and better views of the runways.</p>
