<p>Eleanor Doughty is a Seattle-based illustrator and urban sketcher. Sketchbook in hand, she travels her neighborhood and foreign countries the same way, pen in hand, eyes up. She lives with her partner in an apartment by the lake with 60 houseplants, give or take.</p>
<p>Mt. Fuji shows her famous peak, seen from a quaint area of the town of Kawaguchiko. This scene was painted on location in watercolor early one morning in the artist's travels through Japan.</p>
