<p>Painter, engraver and sculptor, Olivier Morel was born in 1964 in Paris, where he lives and works. His artistic approach consists in expressing life through all its manifestations by using all modes of expression without prejudice or restriction. Morel's forest series consists of more than fifty paintings. He says, "When I walk in the forest, I like to leave the path totally immersed in the vegetation. Painting the forest is a way to rekindle the emotions experienced in nature. It also allows me to practice painting more spontaneously."</p>
