<p>Based in Houyet, Belgium, Pol Ledent is a painter who creates art featuring landscapes, nudes, and still life subjects. His work combines aspects of abstraction and figurative art, with unexpected contrasts of colors and expressive brush strokes. Ledent is a largely self-taught artist who began experimenting with watercolors around the age of 37 before focusing on oil painting.
