Alan Dyer

<p>Born in Nelson, Lancashire, Alan Dyer is a British painter and artist who teaches at the teaches at the Coventry School of Art. He has worked in business, attended art school, and studied for a Master of Philosophy degree in the past. Dyer is known for creating a series of family portraits, being published on the subject of computer-based hypertext systems, and lecturing about the psychology and ideology of art. Today, Dyer manages multiple studios and workshops for young artists at the Coventry Canal Basin Trust.</p>

<p>The region of the summer Milky Way in northern Cygnus containing a rich collection of bright nebulas: the North America Nebula at centre and the Gamma Cygni complex at right, plus the dark nebulas Le Gentil 3, the Funnel Cloud Nebula at upper left, the Northern Coal Sack at centre, and the finger-like B168 at lower left. The bright star at centre is Deneb. M39 is at lower left.-</p>
