I Spy Impactful Lines

Part of our 2021 trend forecast was a style with a strong through line for inspiration. Line art was (and is!) on the rise and the Impactful Lines art collection was carefully curated to help you source the best line art for your home. This curated collection is filled with simple yet chic line art prints that catch the eye and blend easily with any décor style. Since the collection launched, we spotted members of the GBC community creating gorgeous spaces with pieces from the collection and other line art they love. Here’s a roundup of inspirational spaces with styled with some of our favorite line art trend:

Thoughtfully Curated Corner Art

Bound I by Melissa Wang

Cristina of @homeonmountforest cleverly incorporated a framed print in this cozy living room corner. The relaxed ink scrawl of “Bound I” contrasts the sleek black framed print, tying together the formal wall paneling and the eclectic textures and accessories in this relaxed space.

Organic Minimalist Comfort

In a living space all about contemporary comfort, Brittin of @brittindesigns uses free flowing line art in a silver float frame as a chic centerpiece. “Bound IV” adds visual texture and dimensionality to her space while carrying through the neutral colors of her relaxed, muted décor palette.

Lofty Focal Point

Bound IV (Sideways) by Melissa Wang

Turning “Bound IV” on its side (literally!), Bree of @haus.of.kerr gives this loft living room a fresh look. The contrast of black and white against the wood mantle creates sharp contemporary look that's just begging you to kick back and relax on an easy Saturday morning.

Pleasant Pastel Pairing

Unravel I and Unravel II by Victoria Borges

Design duo Ashley & Rocky of @relativerenovations pair line art with a splash of color to complete this eclectic living room layout. The subtle pastel pinks soften the charcoal squiggles while the overall composition provides plenty of negative space to balance the large dark piano occupying this side of the room.
