About Yoshiko Yamamoto
Born and raised in Tokyo, Yoshiko's love of printmaking began early. As a teenager, her favorite pastime was to wander through old dusty bookshops and print shops, collecting traditional Japanese woodblock prints. To create limited edition prints, she sketches flora and fauna found either in America or her native Japan. When Yoshiko is not in the studio making prints, she’s often found out in nature, digging, planting, and feeding the wild birds that frequent her garden.
