About Found Image Press
Found Image Press is a San Diego–based creative company dedicated to preserving and reimagining the visual history found in vintage photographs, postcards, illustrations, advertisements, and other paper ephemera. Founded by Barry and Cate Bell in 1996, their collection spans a wide range of subjects, from travel and architecture to nature, science, fashion, and everyday life, with an emphasis on images that are historically interesting, visually distinctive, and often delightfully quirky. Found Image Press carefully digitizes and reproduces its vintage imagery while generally preserving the character and authenticity of the original pieces, creating artwork that celebrates nostalgia, cultural history, and the enduring appeal of vintage graphic design.
