<p>Spatial dimensions. Conceptual artwork titled Through Dimensions, showing the changes of geometric objects with different dimensions. From top to bottom, the dimensionality increases after passing through each square. A point (zero dimensions) becomes a line (one dimension) and then a circle (two dimensions) and then a sphere (three dimensions). The last two stages, four and five dimensions, cannot be accurately shown, but the concept of increasing dimensions is represented by the increasing number of spheres. The spheres could also represent the 'shadows' of a hypersphere, in the same way that a sphere has a circular shadow.</p>
