Gustave Dore

Doré created illustrations for hundreds of books, including art images depicting The Divine Comedy and stories from the Bible. Some of Doré’s art is in color, while other pieces are stunning in black and white. Yet every piece tells a complex story with an incredible amount of detail and intention in every scene.</p>
