Wrigley Field is located on the corner of Addison and Clark in the heart of Chicago's "Wrigleyville" neighborhood. Built in 1914 and originally known as Weeghman Park, it is the second-oldest ballpark in the majors behind Boston's Fenway Park.
Wrigley Field is wrapped in history and traditions. The ballpark was the site of the famous "called shot" when during the 1932 World Series Babe Ruth pointed to a location and then hit a homerun. One of the most known traditions of Wrigley Field is the flying of a white flag with a blue "W" or a blue flag with a white "L" atop the scoreboard after a game. In 1988, Wrigley Field added lights, allowing for the first night game to be played.
